Hi Ladies

Remember that next week is our last session till the 7th January 2013.
Take your time with the Health and Safety question books- I am looking for answers that reflect further research from yourselves and detail.

See you next week.

  1. In today's session we continued to look at the duty of care within a specific job role. For homework last week we were asked to choose our ideal job role and to write what we thought the duty of care in that job role would entail. Carrying on from that homework we also looked at and wrote about how the duty of care can help with safeguarding an individual in your care. This was quite interesting to start thinking about how these two things go hand in hand. I think when we go on to look at safeguarding in more detail, i will find this a very important and worthwhile subject to study.
We also looked at a scenario regarding conflicts at dilemmas that might occur in a certain situation and how you may manage the risks associated with them.
Tracy gave us our health and safety question books today, so we can start looking at them, and working through the mass of questions, and i know i'm really going to enjoy doing this book!
