Today we shared with the class our findings on different types of abuse, so we could make some notes and complete our work. We then looked at how to handle information in social care settings. We looked different Legislation's, ie. Data Protection Act and the Freedom of Information Act. How to maintain records, different types of storage systems, such as manual(locked filing cabinets), electronic(computers). We were put in groups of two and had 45 minutes to produce a presentation to the rest of the class. We also completed peer observation sheets to help us learn how to give others positive criticisms.
